Well… It works
Fortunately, this does what it says, but theres a couple things that really bother me with using this.
1. Theres no way to save your plugin folder, so it requires navigating to your components folder and then choosing the plugin this way each time. Luckily I have Default Folder X installed, so I can save my component folder as a favorite, but really, there should be a drop down list to select the plugin just like any other host.
2. If your MIDI controller was not connected, or powered on when the program was launched, then you will need to close and reopen the app before it will recognize the MIDI controller.
Ive given it 4 stars which Ill change to 5 stars if #1 on my list is changed. Overall, I would reccommend this for anyone that wants to use a plugin, and opening a recording program (Logic, Reaper, Live, Protools, etc…) is just overkill.
I should also add that if you are doing tutorials, this works great. When clicking off screen, the plugin window will remain open.
